The Bostik Findley Flooring Group has developed two new lines of Durabond Fortified Tile Grout, sanded and unsanded, which may be used for multiple horizontal and vertical tile installation applications. Durabond Fortified Tile Grout lines are available in 30 new popular colors. Sanded grouts are available in 25- and 9-pound bags; unsanded products are available in 25- and 5-pound bags, with color cards and grout kits.

This product is designed to significantly enhance performance properties such as faster setting, freeze/thaw resistance, low absorption, easier clean up, more consistent color quality, and expanded strength and durability, according to Bostik.

Both types of latex-fortified Durabond grout are comprised of a proven blend of carefully graded quartz aggregates, Portland cement, colorfast pigments, redispersable polymers, and other proprietary product enhances. The sanded and unsanded Durabond Fortified Tile Grout lines meet or exceed American National Standards Institute Specifications, which is used in the installation of tiles for cement grouts, the company reports.

Phil Pitts, Bostik Findley Flooring ceramic tile product manager, said the new Durabond latex-fortified grouts are designed for the quick, easy, and lasting installation of all types of slate, granite, cultured marble, dimensional stone, structural glazed tile, ceramic tile, ceramic mosaics, porcelain, quarry tile, and brick pavers.
