Alpha® has introduced a series of CNC tooling for Dekton, crystallized glass and other vitreous materials. These finger bits and core drill bits are designed for CNC machines and radial arm workstations and come with a ½-inch gas thread, designed for the tool holder. The diamonds and matrix have been uniquely selected to minimize blow-out at the bottom of the stone, since most CNC router fabrication is done upside-down. In addition, these tools utilize the superior technology that has made Alpha a leader in the stone industry.

Viper CNC tooling is a CNC tooling system featuring a 6 mm layer of diamonds on each profile wheel, including the polishing steps — ensuring the longest tool life in the industry and at a price that can’t be beat, according to Braxton-Bragg. It features seven steps — five metal and two ceramic polishing steps — and they are all produced with a standard 35 mm bore. This allows a job to be completed fast. All of Braxton-Bragg’s CNC tooling is accompanied by data sheets with complete set-up information, including pre-calibrated setting parameters, detailed operating information and maintenance instructions, reports the company.
All tools are carefully balanced and inspected by strict quality-control standards.
There are six profiles offered, including two types of radius profiles, ogee straight, double eased, bevel, full bullnose and demi bullnose.

It will cut all types of material, including granite, marble and engineered stone. It is available in 1 3/8-inch and has an RPM of 4500 to 5500.
