A panel of fabricators came together for the MIA/Stone World Dallas Stone Summit for a fabricator forum on March 26, 2015 in Farmers Branch, TX, hosted by M S International, Inc. (MSI).

Nineteen speakers from the Bridgeport, Connecticut-based company presented 61 classes, with a total of 747 attendees.

The event was targeted to architects and designers, with approximately 20 people in attendance.

The Building Stone Institute (BSI) and Marble Institute of America (MIA) will jointly host a 2015 study tour with Washington, D.C., as the backdrop for a three-day event immersed in its rich heritage of natural stone.

The Call for Entries signifies that the MIA is now accepting entries for their various awards.

The Wine & Stone presentation is a wine tasting event centered on educating participants about the similarities in selecting both wine and stone and the uniqueness of both products.

The 2015 Pinnacle Awards competition will include two new categories: "Kitchen of the Year" and "Bath of the Year".

The 2014 survey boasted 212 participants with 40% of those also completing the 2013 survey.
