NTCA and Custom Building Products Partnered to Unite Tile Contractors
LAS VEGAS, NV -- The National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA), in partnership with Custom Building Products, hosted a successful Happy Hour on the opening afternoon of Coverings, which was held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV, from March 30 to April 2, 2026. The event brought together contractors and industry professionals for drinks, a photo booth experience and giveaways, creating an energetic and welcoming atmosphere after a full day on the show floor. The Happy Hour served as a valuable touchpoint for strengthening relationships and building new connections across the tile industry.
To maximize engagement, the first hour was exclusively for NTCA Five-Star Accredited Contractor members, followed by a second hour open to all attendees. This format provided a unique opportunity to recognize top-tier contractors while fostering broader industry networking.
During the Happy Hour, the NTCA announced the launch of an innovative new program designed to expand access to membership. The NTCA Membership Certificate Program enables manufacturers to purchase NTCA membership packages for distribution to contractors. Custom Building Products has taken the lead in supporting this initiative, purchasing 10 NTCA memberships to kick off the program. Several additional manufacturers have already expressed interest in participating.
“This program represents a meaningful way for manufacturers to invest directly in the success and professional development of tile contractors,” said Jeremy Sax, deputy director of the NTCA. “We’re excited to see the momentum building around this initiative.”
