Fabricators To Gain Valuable Insight at Florida Stone Summit

The second of 10 Stone Industry Education (SIE) events for 2026 is scheduled for Thursday, March 12th at Marble of the World in Pompano Beach, FL.
POMPANO BEACH, FL – Marble of the World is set to host a Stone Industry Education event at its showroom and warehouse in Pompano Beach, FL, on Thursday, March 12, 2026. The educational series — designed specifically for fabricators — is organized by Stone World in partnership with the Natural Stone Institute (NSI).
The presentation will be given by Geoffrey Gran, an accomplished entrepreneur with extensive experience in sales, business development and project management. As the owner and co-founder of The Countertop Factory Midwest in Chicago, IL, since July 2005, Gran has led a company dedicated to delivering high-quality countertop products and exceptional customer service. Previously, Gran served as vice president of sales and business development at Centrad Healthcare, where significant revenue growth was achieved within four years. Gran also directed a new division at American Pharmaceutical Services, resulting in over $15 million in sales, and effectively managed projects at Mitchell International, focusing on the healthcare sector. Gran's educational background includes a degree from Tulane University.
“I am really excited to be spending time with the group talking about topics outside of fabrication and installation,” said Gran. “We will discuss how to track key metrics within your business to gain clarity into opportunities and to grow profit and operational efficiencies.”
Learning objectives for the full-day session include:
- Understand Key Industry Metrics: Identify and interpret critical stone industry performance indicators to drive informed business decisions.
- Apply Sales and Business Development Strategies: Learn practical approaches to increase revenue and expand market presence in the stone sector.
- Optimize Operational Efficiency: Explore methods to streamline workflows and enhance productivity while maintaining product quality.
- Build a Customer-Centric Business Model: Implement strategies for superior customer service and long-term client retention.
- Scale and Sustain Growth: Learn how to strategically grow a stone business while managing risks and maintaining profitability.
“We will touch on sales and marketing strategies that aim to boost your market presence,” said Gran. “We will investigate the idea of world-class customer service and how that separates you from the rest of your competition so you can charge what you are worth. And finally, we will spend time how to profitably manage your business during growth stages without losing control of profit. And of course, we will have open sessions throughout the day to talk about topics that are most important to you.”
