SFA Workshop to Bring Live Fabrication Demos, Industry Networking to North Texas

Stone Fabricator's Alliance
February 25, 2026

The Stone Fabricators Alliance will host a two-day workshop March 5–6 at Old World Granite & Stone, featuring live equipment demonstrations and hands-on training from more than a dozen industry suppliers.

The event is open to SFA members and is designed to give stone countertop fabricators practical takeaways they can apply in their own shops. Demonstrations are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days.

The first day’s lineup covers a wide range of fabrication technology. Sapien Stone/StonePeak will open with a session on cutting and fabricating full-body porcelain slabs, followed by a Proliner V-Series demo from Prodim USA and the Slab Cart Pro material handling system from Slab Cart. Flexijet will demonstrate its 3D digital templating technology, and Schluter Systems will close the morning with its “Shower In An Hour” installation session.

Afternoon sessions on March 5 include quartz, porcelain and ceramic repair techniques from FillaChip, a look at BACA Systems’ M Series 240 robotic sawjet, Chemical Concepts’ introduction of its Tile Ace Max product line and a Miter Medic demonstration from GranQuartz.

Day two begins with a welcome breakfast at 7:30 a.m., followed by a demonstration from Water Treatment Solutions on its Eco-Clean water recycling system. The afternoon is reserved for an open session billed as “SFA Cage with Bob,” in which attendees can request specific demonstrations on the spot.

Several sponsors are underwriting meals and social events throughout the workshop. GoClips is sponsoring the March 5 welcome breakfast at 8 a.m., with Quail Leasing covering lunch. GranQuartz will host a happy hour from 3 to 5 p.m. at Old World Granite & Stone. A dinner sponsored by Park Industries and Triton Stone will follow at Andy B’s Bowling, 2600 Panhandle Drive, Denton, TX 76201, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The workshop is limited exclusively to active Guardian Sponsors for supplier attendance. Suppliers must hold a current Guardian Sponsorship with the SFA to attend. All individuals on-site are required to register and wear an event badge.

Recommended accommodations include the Embassy Suites by Hilton Denton Convention Center, (940) 243-3799, and the Courtyard by Marriott Denton, (940) 382-4600.
