Register Now for Hands-On Flooring Team Training

HORSESHOE BAY, TX -- Flooring Consultants and Inspection Training Services (FCITS) is opening registration for two retail flooring training courses this December. Both sessions feature the same comprehensive hands-on curriculum -- centered on communication, customer satisfaction and installation best practices -- offered on different dates and at separate host locations to provide flexibility for retail organizations sending multiple team members.

The first session will be held at RC Willey in Salt Lake City, UT, on December 16 and 17, 2025, followed by a second session at Ogden’s Flooring Center on December 18th and 19th. Attendees may register for either location.

This training is designed to help retail flooring teams strengthen communication across departments, reduce costly callbacks and improve installation outcomes. The curriculum focuses on aligning sales, installation, site assessment and customer service teams to ensure consistent standards and clear expectations before a job begins -- ultimately reducing customer service expenses and protecting profit margins on every project.

Many retailers choose to send multiple team members to ensure consistent standards across locations and roles.

Course Topics Include

  • Hands-on training in rigid core flooring applications
  • Common issues appearing in the field and how to prevent them
  • Determining responsibility when concerns arise
  • Recognizing issues early before involving manufacturers or contractors
  • Required site preparation and installation conditions
  • Selecting the correct product for each environment
  • RH guidelines for Hybrid/SPCs
  • Proper use of moisture meters
  • Certificate of completion provided

FCITS and CFI-certified trainers lead instruction. No prerequisites are required.

Cost: $500 per participant | Group pricing available for organizations registering 15 or more.
