New DataPUCK Sensor: Warranty Protection with Long-Term CLIMIT Monitoring

June 18, 2025

CLIMIT (Floorcloud), is proud to announce the launch of the DataPUCK, a powerful new data logging sensor designed to record temperature and humidity conditions on jobsites for up to two years. All too often the construction industry sees installations experience problems weeks and months after projects have been completed, most commonly due to internal building controls being turned off. The CLIMIT DataPUCK now makes it possible to capture long-term ambient conditions during and after installation, providing the documentation needed to protect contractors throughout their entire warranty period.

“What makes the DataPUCK an effective solution is how easily it connects the dots, logging conditions, aligning with manufacturer specs, and turning raw data into clear, defensible reporting,” says Patrick Mullins, Co-Founder & COO at CLIMIT. “You get meaningful insight you can actually use to protect your business when things beyond your control cause problems.”

The integration with the CLIMIT Specification Database, enables users to monitor and compare logged conditions directly against product-specific temperature and humidity tolerances set by manufacturers. This empowers contractors to stay within manufacturer spec ranges and confidently defend their work.

“The DataPUCK is more than just a traditional data logger, its built to work seamlessly with the CLIMIT spec database to provide the detailed reporting contractors demand.” said Scott Banda, Co-Founder & CEO at CLIMIT. “Each of our technology solutions are designed to help avoid jobsite problems and easily access reportable data on every installation."
