PORTLAND, OR – ZBIZ -- short for Z Collection + Business -- returns on June 12, 2025, bringing renewed energy and innovation to the tile and design industry. The trade event is a dynamic celebration of creative craftsmanship, industry leadership and cutting-edge design, with a special spotlight on female installers and mosaic artists who are redefining the art of tile installation.
This year’s centerpiece is an Installation Showdown featuring six talented tile and mosaic artists from the Portland area. These professionals will create original murals using Z Collection tile and stone, with the option to incorporate natural materials like wood, wool and clay for added depth and creativity. Attendees will vote for their favorites in four distinct categories:
Champion Installer
Best Use of Color
Most Unique Design
Best Technique
Beyond the competition, ZBIZ 2025 invites the broader design community to explore sponsorship and vendor opportunities, offering businesses a platform to showcase their products and services in a beautifully curated trade show environment. From tile innovations to design inspiration, guests will experience what is new and next in the world of interiors.
The day kicks off at 12:00 p.m. with the launch of the Installation Showdown voting and the opening of the Mini Trade Show. Featuring vendor booths, networking opportunities with industry professionals and delicious made-to-order pizza by Salted Stone Catering, accompanied by a selection of drinks and refreshments.
At 4:00 p.m., the spotlight turns to the Awards Ceremony, where the work of participating female artists and installers will be honored for their innovation and excellence. The event concludes with a cocktail hour, providing the perfect space to celebrate the day’s creativity and connect with peers in a relaxed inspiring setting.
