VERONA, ITALY – As part of its Atelier Bespoke offering, Bang & Olufsen during 2025 Milan Design Week unveiled a new collaboration with Italian natural stone brand, Antolini. The partnership celebrates the shared commitment to innovation, artistry and craftsmanship that defines both brands, seamlessly blending acoustic excellence with timeless design. Debuting at Milan Design Week, the Beosound Balance Natura speaker embodies this fusion, crafted with Antolini’s exquisite natural materials alongside bespoke Bang & Olufsen designs.
“We’re delighted to partner with Antolini, further enhancing our Atelier offering and empowering our customers to craft exclusive, artisan pieces for their homes," said Bang & Olufsen CEO Kristian Teär. “Beosound Balance Natura is the embodiment of this collaboration -- a seamless fusion of nature and innovation, where raw beauty meets refined sound. Together, we have transformed materials into emotion, shaping stone and sculpting sound into a singular work of art that speaks to both the senses and the soul.”
“Together with Bang & Olufsen, we turned precious materials into unique sensory experiences,” said Carlo Alberto Antolini, owner of Antolini. “On the one hand, natural stone shaped to tell the story of Mother Nature's beauty. On the other hand, sound, sculpted to deliver pure emotions through design that becomes art. This collaboration is not just the meeting of different materials but a dialogue between aesthetics and performance, between nature and technology, between history and avant-garde.”
Beosound Balance Natura features an innovative new pedestal design that pairs Antolini’s stone mastery with Bang & Olufsen’s expertise in aluminum. The sculptural base elevates the speaker to its optimal height, serving as both a striking interior statement and a functional audio element.
The speaker is available in select Antolini natural quartz from the Exclusive Collection and petrified wood from the Precioustone Collection, including Cristallo Iceberg, Cristallo Vitrum 'Wow’ and Cristallo Rosa 'Wow' natural quartz, and fossilized woods Retro Grey, Retro Brown and Retro Fancyblack. These materials offer unique translucency and depth, enhancing the interplay of light, texture and sound.
A defining feature is the anodized aluminum ring between the pedestal and speaker, creating a seamless visual transition while balancing the natural and engineered elements. The precise color matching strengthens the harmony between materials, emphasizing both contrast and cohesion.
"For this design, we didn’t want to create just a pedestal to place the speaker on,” said Bang & Olufsen Head of Design, Tiina Kierysch. “Our vision was to create a seamless extension of the product by forming a clear sense of belonging between the speaker and its plinth. As a result, the sculptural stone pedestal is designed to perfectly cradle Beosound Balance, making it feel like one unified product. The brushed aluminum ring distinguishes the speaker from its pedestal, while enhancing the dialogue between materials, where the vitality of natural stone converges with the precision of aluminum.”
To celebrate the partnership, Bang & Olufsen and Antolini presented a limited collection of 16 bespoke speakers, each featuring a distinct combination of Antolini’s natural stones and custom finishes from the Bang & Olufsen’s Atelier catalog.
Additionally, a Beovision Theatre 55-inch TV and pair of Beolab 28 speakers, customized in Antolini’s Amazonite
quartzite complete the series. The vibrant stone base creates a striking new aesthetic that complements Bang & Olufsen’s signature neutral color palette.
Products from the collection are made to order. Prices available upon request.
