Brazil’s biggest ornamental rocks exporter and a global reference in the sector,  Guidoni Group exhibited all the magnificence, versatility and creative potential of Brazil’s natural stones in the Human Spaces exposition, which was part of the FouriSalone 2019 official schedule, the world’s main design and decoration week based in Milan, Italy. Promoted by the highly regarded Italian contemporary design magazine Interni, the event took place from April 8 to 19, at Università degli Studi di Milano.

The exhibition presented projects aimed to improve people’s existence and coexistence, prioritizing human beings and their needs. Representing the very best of Brazil’s creative design, the Brazilian Scope installation was designed by Espírito Santo’s native Vivian Coser and was inspired by the distinctive organic features of landscaper Burle Marx’s gardens, in order to highlight the identity of Brazilian exotic stones.

In this regard, four exotic quartzites from Guidoni were selected for the beauty of their color nuances and their high resistance: Emerald Green, Mykonos, Phoenix Grey and Perla Venata. These materials were employed to create unusual tables with strong curves that emphasize the vibrating colors and the stones’ organic traits, reflecting our tropical nature.

In this way, four singular models were conceived, each one dedicated to one of the quartzites: Emerald Green – with smooth green and golden tones that blend forming precious and unique drawings – and Mykonos – with movements that create a perfect book-matching with a minimalist Greek design’s touch – those two exclusive from the brand’s portfolio. The project also counts with Phoenix Gray’s characteristic movements – with gray shades and intense black that meet brighter tones – and the visual sensibility of Perla Venata – with shades in grayish tones that mix with the material’s neutral and smooth base, in a classical chromatic pallet.

“This was our first presence as a brand in Milan, during Fuorisalone. To us, it is really important to take part in this event that summed up the latest trends in terms of design. Being in Milan right when the city turned into a Mecca of design, performing as the main global showcase of trends and new features, couldn’t be more appropriate, especially when Guidoni’s operation is intense in this European region due to the showroom and logistic hub in Verona,” explained Verônica Petrópolis, marketing manager at Guidoni Group.
