Deemed the stone event for stone industry professionals, StonExpo/Marmomac is a B2B stone exhibition under The International Surface Event (TISE) brand. At the beginning of each year, the show draws thousands of people from across the globe to exhibit, as well as to tour the exhibition hall. The 2019 edition is scheduled for January 23 to 25, with the education beginning on January 22, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. It is expected to feature specialty stone and machinery areas with exhibitions of stone and stone supplies from seven countries, in addition to stone tools, equipment, services and demonstrations from leading manufacturers and associations.

Marmomac, a well-known stone exhibition held every fall at Veronafiere in Verona, Italy, is the event partner of StonExpo/Marmomac. The organization will host the Marmomac Pavilion on the event floor which will allow attendees to view global exhibitions of stone and stone supplies from Canada, India, Italy, Turkey, Portugal and more. The Natural Stone Institute, a trade association representing every aspect of the natural stone industry offering a wide array of technical and training resources, professional development opportunities, regulatory advocacy and networking events, is the sponsor of StonExpo/Marmomac. The association will have a large presence at the show, including its 2019 Awards Ceremony celebrating the 2018 Pinnacle Awards winners, as well as honoring Natural Stone Institute Industry Award winners. Additionally, it is one of the sponsors of the Stone Pavilion Block Party that will be held on Thursday, January 24th from 3:30 to 5 p.m. by the Natural Stone Council and other supporting stone associations. Stone Worldwill also be presenting its Fabricator of the Year Award at the start of the party.

In addition to the numerous product displays and live demonstrations, TISE will also provide an educational component. This year, show management is launching a new and unique educational program that will provide attendees learning opportunities to help fill their business “toolbox” with new ideas, positively impact the bottom line, make their businesses more profitable and boost their careers to the next level. Participants will be able to choose from sessions featuring the hottest topics and industry experts. As an added bonus, most sessions qualify for continuing education credits with AIA, IDCEC, ASID, IDC, IIDA, NKBA, AIBD and/or IICRC. There will also be a multitude of bonus education sessions, certifications, interactive workshops and tours offered by many of TISE’s partners, including CTEF, Houzz, ICRI, IWF, NSI, NALFA, NFIC, NWFA and SFA.

For live training, be sure to stop by the Stone Fabricator’s Alliance’s booth to view the daily schedule for The Cage. This platform offers several live demonstrations a day on various topics related to stone fabrication.
