The International Surface Event announces call for nominations to the 2016 Best of Awards program

May 6, 2015
DALLAS, TX -- The International Surface Event (TISE) has announced the call for nominations for the Best of 2016 Awards program, sponsored by Floor Covering News, Stone World and TILE Magazine. The winning companies will be announced and awarded in the winner's booths in January 2016 at TISE in Las Vegas, NV.

Participation in the Best of Awards program, which encompasses SURFACES | StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas | TileExpo, is free for companies exhibiting at TISE 2016. Submissions may include a product, program, service, business practice or booth design that the company believes has achieved incredible success or excellence. A company may submit only one product in a single category, but may submit the same product across multiple categories.

Please note that the rules for submission changed during the Best of 2015 Awards nomination period; your submissions no longer have to be new. Due to this rule change in the 2015 nomination period, some industry leading manufacturers and suppliers were unaware and did not participate. We would like to acknowledge this and encourage all companies who have achieved excellence in a category to participate in the Best of 2016 Awards. Complete your nomination now.

The Best of Awards for each show will be evaluated and determined by a panel of judges chosen by the official publication sponsors. Awards will be presented by representatives from the sponsoring publications and TISE show management. Winners will also be featured in a post-show press release, featured on the show's social media channels and highlighted on TISEwest.com.

"TISE is proud to host the Best of Awards for the SURFACES, StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas, and TileExpo Events," said Amie Gilmore, Show Director for TISE. "We are impressed year over year as the entries from industry manufacturers and suppliers that are submitted are even more impressive. If you're an exhibitor at TISE 2016, you'll want to take advantage of this opportunity."

If you are an exhibitor and would like to nominate your company for an award, complete your nomination now. The deadline for submission is December 4, 2015. More information, including the list of Best of 2015 award winners, can be found at TISEwest.com/Bestof2016.

TISE 2016will be held from January 20 to 22, with education from January 19 to 22, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV.  To receive notification when registration opens for attendees, visit TISEwest.com/NotifyMe. For information on exhibiting at TISE, visit TISEwest.com/ContactMe.
