Crossville acquires Denver-based distributorship

March 11, 2016

CROSSVILLE, TN -- Officials with Crossville, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Curran Group, have announced the company's acquisition of substantially all assets belonging to CAPCO Tile & Stone, LLC., a distribution business headquartered in Denver, CO. With multiple locations throughout Colorado and one showroom in Las Vegas, NV, CAPCO will join Crossville's existing company-owned distribution arm, Crossville Tile & Stone (CT&S), which has a presence throughout parts of the southeast U.S., Oklahoma and Texas.

According to Tim Curran, co-president of the Curran Group, this acquisition comes as a result of a unique convergence of factors that resulted in a strong opportunity for both Crossville and CAPCO.

"We've built our nearly 30-year-old business on an immovable commitment and loyalty to our distributors, who are truly our partners in the marketplace," said Curran. "That's why we have never actively sought to acquire distributorships, but, instead, have been open to opportunities as they have naturally arisen and proved to be beneficial for our business and brand long term. The addition of CAPCO to our CT&S family puts all entities in a position of strength going forward."

The acquisition of CAPCO is effectively immediately. For more information, visit crossvilleinc.com.
