WINSTON-SALEM, NC — Salem Stone, a division of Salem Distributing Co., an employee-owned company, has announced the expansion of its sales and service staff with the recent addition of four new owners: Doug Jackson, Joe Cota, Dio Guerra and Wayne Rush. This group collectively brings over 90 years of experience to the Salem Stone division.

Doug Jackson, for 25 years, has consulted, provided installation, relocation, repair and training for major fabricators across the U.S. He owned and operated a business dedicated to field service for 15 years and holds a degree in Electronic Engineering. Jackson will cover the East Coast, Canada and portions of the Midwest and Southern states as Salem’s Machinery Sales Engineer.

Joe Cota, Machinery Sales Engineer, will cover the West Coast, also portions of the South/Southwest. Cota brings 18 years of experience in waterjet technology, CNC, water filtration systems and other equipment drawn from his time with Makino, Intermac/Diamut America and Marmoelettromaccanica.

Regional Account Manager and Stone Fabrication Product Specialist, Dio Guerra, with 28 years of fabrication experience comes to Salem from Besana Lovati. At Salem, Guerra will provide leadership and direction in a number of regions. Working closely with the management team, he will play an integral role in the continual development and expansion of stone supply accounts.

Wayne Rush started in the glass industry in the late 1980s. As Salem’s Glass and Stone Fabrication Specialist, he will continue to be involved with sales and service — building and strengthening customer relationships, while managing product and technology additions and innovations. Rush will draw on industry experience accrued at BGM Diamond Tools, Z. Bavelloni Spa, Hilemn Machinery and, most recently, Besana-Lovati.
