Inside sales rep promoted

May 7, 2007

WATERBURY, CT - Kara Oneglia has been promoted to Fabrication Account Representative for O&G Industries - Masonry Division, as announced by Patrick Schmitt, Director of O&G’s Fabrication and Distribution Center.

In her new position, Oneglia will be responsible for building partnerships with wholesale accounts throughout the region. The partnerships will be fostered through value-added service offering custom stone profiling for countertop fabrication to meet the growing demand of natural stone countertop sales in the industry. In addition, she will manage the Cambria account to meet annual sales objectives, according to the company.

“We are pleased to announce the promotion of Kara to our sales team,” said Schmitt. “Her strong product knowledge and expertise in custom stone fabrication will allow her to provide the wholesale marketplace with fabrication service to meet their growing customer expectations.” The newly created position of a dedicated Fabrication Account Representative is part of O&G’s long-term strategic plan.

Oneglia has over six year’s experience in the masonry business, beginning her career as Showroom Sales Consultant in O&G’s Earth Products Showcase showroom in Waterbury. She holds a bachelor of science degree in Business Management with a minor in Psychology from Central Connecticut State University, and currently attends Paier College of Art for an Interior Design degree to complement her career objectives.

O&G Industries, Masonry Division is a large supplier in Connecticut of masonry products and services. Facilities include five mason stores and stone-yards, four showrooms, a fabrication and distribution and stone splitter operation all strategically placed throughout Connecticut.
