LAWRENCE, KS - Steven Hawkins and Tom Lane have joined ProSoCo as sales managers for the company's Upper-Midwest and Northwest regions. A Kansas City native, Hawkins started in the industry as a construction laborer. He worked his way through high school and later the University of Missouri, Kansas City. While earning his degree in psychology and secondary education, he helped build roads and bridges. Since then, Mr. Hawkins has worked as a homebuilder, a construction materials sales representative, and a fabricator and distributor of natural stone. Tom Lane, of Tolland, CT, is a 1979 graduate of Babson College in Wellesley, MA, where he earned a bachelor's degree in marketing. Mr. Lane entered the construction industry in 1991 when he went to work for Five Star Products, a manufacturer of precision grouts, epoxies and waterproofing products for concrete.
