Attendee registration opens for StonExpo 2005

Attendee registration has opened for StonExpo 2005, which takes place from October 19 to 22 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. â€œStonExpo 2005 in Las Vegas is going to be the best event yet, and the industry support we have received confirms that,â€ said Michelle Troop, Senior Show Director for StonExpo. â€œExhibitors have been making their plans to participate in StonExpo in Las Vegas for months, and now stone industry professionals can register and confirm their participation in the industry event, too.â€

Registration and housing forms are now live on the StonExpo Web site at www.StonExpo.com, allowing attendees to complete their arrangements online. This year's all-new online attendee registration form allows attendees to quickly and easily sign up for exhibits admission as well as courses in the Conference Program. Attendees who register for StonExpo by September 30, 2005 get free exhibit admission and discounted pricing on conference packages.

For the best deals on housing, airfare and car rental, StonExpo management suggests that attendees sign up as soon as possible. There is a variety of hotel prices to accommodate for varied budgets, and discounts are available on the Web site for airfare and car rentals for added savings. Since hotel rooms are going fast, it is advisable to book housing now, while the greatest selection is still available.

As the event's new producer, Hanley Wood Exhibitions has developed an education program featuring six targeted tracks of expert-led, information-packed workshops and seminars. The exhibition itself will include a comprehensive selection of stone products and resources, with more than 250 exhibiting companies.

A strategic show schedule is designed to maximize attendees' time at the show. Pre-show workshops will take place Wednesday, October 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Seminars are scheduled for Thursday, October 20 through Saturday, October 22 from 7:45 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

The Marble Institute of America will also once again host its Member Gala Reception and Pinnacle Awards Luncheon. The Gala will take place Thursday, October 20 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and the luncheon is scheduled for Friday, October 21 from 12:15 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Attendees who are members of the MIA receive discounted pricing on Conference Packages and MIA events.
