CeramaSeal Stone Enhancer is easy to apply, low in odor and non-yellowing, according to Phil Pitts, Ceramic Product Manager of Bostik Findley Flooring Group. Designed for almost any interior or exterior tile or grout color enhancement application, CeramaSeal Stone Enhancer is ideal for tumbled marble; slate; sawn granite; marble and limestone; flamed or honed granite and limestone; travertine; and cement tile grout.
The product may be applied to unpolished stone or porous tile using a clean cotton towel or lambs¿ wool applicator, and needs just 5 to 10 minutes to permeate the surface, before excess product can be wiped away, according to the company. The product dries in two to four hours depending on the temperature and porosity of the stone being treated.
CeramaSeal Stone Enhancer is available in pints, quarts and gallons, and is translucent in color. "Rough-textured ceramic tiles and stones, such as tumbled marble, are becoming increasingly popular in residential and commercial markets across the Americas," said Pitts. "CeramaSeal Stone Enhancer helps contractors avoid the ¿chalky¿ look that these types of stones tend to exude by enhancing the natural details -- the veins, mineral deposits and color shades -- of non-polished, precast tiles."
