In recognition of Construction Safety Week, which was from May 5 to 9, 2025, commercial stone provider GI Stone employees reviewed safety precautions, including protection from inhaling silica dust, which is generated when cutting, grinding and polishing stone.

 Park Industries® announced details for its upcoming Fabricator Exchange™ (FabX) event. The next FabX will head west to Salt Lake City, UT on June 19, 2025. Park Industries shares its FabX events brings a fresh approach to sharing knowledge with fabricators -- designed with an emphasis on collaboration and hands-on learning.

The project is meant to design and implement education and training programs, assisting both students and career-changers prepare for high-quality opportunities in the tile industry.

The course, "How to be a Professional Architectural Sales Rep," attracted 20 students who learned tactics to assist them in ensuring a sale.

NSI and ISFA released a new medical surveillance guidance document as well as extending collaboration with Yale School of Medicine to further study silica safety best practices.
