Chemical Concepts Expands Nationwide Reach with Perigee Direct Acquisition

Chemical Concepts has acquired Perigee Direct, a Texas-based supplier of specialty consumables for science and industrial customers, significantly expanding its product portfolio, e-commerce capabilities, and distribution footprint.

The acquisition strengthens Chemical Concepts’ leadership in adhesives and specialty chemicals while adding new product categories such as plastic welding equipment, industrial lubricants, and filling systems. Perigee Direct’s 19-year track record in precision adhesives, resins, lab consumables, and specialty chemicals complements Chemical Concepts’ expertise and enhances its ability to serve both B2B and B2C customers nationwide.

A key advantage of the deal is Perigee Direct’s Texas operations, which will operate as a strategic distribution hub. This location will reduce delivery times for customers across the Western and Southern U.S., while increasing capacity for both companies’ product lines.

“Perigee Direct is laser-focused on delivering an excellent user experience,” said Andrew Morris, CEO of Chemical Concepts. “They possess exactly the capabilities and market presence we were seeking: deep expertise in specialty applications, strong customer relationships, and a Texas location that fills a critical gap in our distribution network.”

"Chemical Concepts is deeply committed to a problem-solving approach, innovation and novelty in products and services offered, and long-term value for their customers and partners. This aligns perfectly with our mission," said Matt Jackson, CEO of Perigee Direct. "They offer exactly the scale and resource diversity that Perigee Direct needs to take our mission of transforming the industrial supply customer experience to the next level."

Founded in 2006, Perigee Direct has earned a loyal customer base in research laboratories, manufacturing facilities, and industrial organizations across multiple sectors. Their mission, “make supplying your teams super easy, and accelerate the transition to sustainable industry,” mirrors Chemical Concepts’ problem-solving approach and dedication to long-term partnerships.

For customers, the acquisition means more product choice, faster shipping, and expanded technical support. Both companies’ customer bases will keep their existing service relationships while gaining the benefit of a stronger combined operation.
