MILE®stone Announces Chapter in Designer Collaboration Series

CLARKSVILLE, TN -- MILE®stone is excited to announce the designer collaboration for Stories: Chapter 4. Continuing the mission to Give a Voice to the American Design Community, this next chapter will feature a collaboration with Nicole Jordan, design director at PBK in Houston, TX. The new collection will debut in spring 2026, with its official reveal at Coverings in Las Vegas, NV, scheduled for March 30th to April 2nd.
The Stories concept by MILE®stone celebrates creativity and collaboration within the American design community. Each chapter introduces a new designer’s perspective -- translating their ideas and design philosophy into a distinctive porcelain tile collection that reflects MILE®stone’s commitment to craftsmanship, sustainability and storytelling through design.
As one of the leaders of PBK’s Houston Design Studio, Jordan has contributed to a wide range of sectors, including civic, workplace and aviation projects. In educational design, she helps shape learning environments that inspire and empower students across Texas. Jordan believes good design should be equitable and inclusive. Guided by this belief, her work emphasizes wellness, safety and flexibility. These principles also shape her Stories Chapter 4 concept, which takes a biophilic approach -- bringing nature into the built space to create a sense of peace, calm and connection.
The MILE®stone Stories platform originated from its Design Advisory Council (DAC) -- a group of distinguished designers selected for their insight and influence in the design community. Each year, members submit collection concepts for consideration. From these submissions, one concept is selected for development in collaboration with the MILE®stone design team. Previous collaborations have included Jennifer Farris of Bandura Design for the Bestow™ Collection (Chapter 1), Michele McMinn of Gresham Smith for the imprint Collection (Chapter 2), and Sarah Rink of Design Cooperative, LLC in Jacksonville, FL, for the Untamed™ Collection (Chapter 3).
"We believe in co-creation and are always excited to unite our industry in celebrating the latest in design and trends" said President and CEO Rodolfo Panisi. With Stories: Chapter 4, MILE®stone and Jordan continue to expand the Stories concept -- exploring how thoughtful design can elevate the spaces where we learn, live and connect.
Join MILE®stone on March 30th at Coverings 2026 to experience the next chapter of Stories -- a celebration of design, innovation and the power of storytelling through porcelain tile.
