Porcelain Interpreting the Characteristics of Slate

Dakota by Gruppo Romani is a textured stone-like porcelain tile that portrays solid and authentic beauty. It draws its inspiration from the rocky landscapes of western South Dakota. The Verde 1999 collection, designed to meet the needs of contemporary architecture, interprets the pure essence of slate with true personality. The three-dimensional clefted surface gives this porcelain stoneware extraordinary authenticity and depth. The textured effect, visible and palpable to the touch, enriches the three-dimensional glaze application making for a truly realistic reproduction of natural stone. Dakota is available in five elegant and versatile colors – White (pictured), Beige, Gray, Anthracite and Black. The collection includes four main sizes, as well as two modular packages and special waterjet-cut compositions and mosaic for creative interior spaces in all contexts, from residential to public. A 2cm-thick version of the 100 x 100cm size completes the offering with a big stone look for outdoor installations.
