Sinkits Expands Reach in the Northeast With Simple Sink Installation Solutions

Sinkits, a U.S.-based manufacturer of undermount sink installation tools, is expanding its footprint in the Northeast through the efforts of sales and marketing executive Dara Pinkus.
Pinkus, who joined the company after years in sales, marketing and merchandising, now leads regional outreach and national promotional efforts for Sinkits. She spoke on a recent episode of the Stone World Podcast about the company’s origins, the growing adoption of its products, and how she’s helping educate fabricators and installers across the industry.
“I wanted a role that allowed for personal and professional growth, and this was a perfect fit,” said Pinkus. “Sinkits needed more exposure in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and the surrounding areas, and I was excited to take that on.”
Founded by Kevin Pridemore, a fabricator with more than three decades of experience, Sinkits was created to solve a familiar problem: simplifying the undermount sink installation process. Based in Missouri, the company manufactures all its products in the United States—an important distinction, said Pinkus, given ongoing global tariff and shipping issues.
“Our products aren’t affected by tariff price spikes, which has been a big comfort for many in the industry,” said Pinkus.
Sinkits offers a range of tools including clips, brackets, and sink straps—all designed specifically for undermount sink installations. The systems are engineered to use gravity and sink weight to create a secure hold without requiring adhesives or epoxies.
“There’s no glue, no epoxy needed—just the tool, the bracket, and a fastening device like a screwdriver,” said Pinkus. “That makes it simple, fast, and reliable.”
One of Sinkits’ key innovations is its low-clearance bracket, developed to fit in tight spaces between sinks and cabinets where traditional clips won’t work. Other variations accommodate CNC-drilled holes, grinder-cut slots, or cabinet-side fastening. According to Pinkus, the right product depends on the installer’s comfort level and tools available.
“Whether you're using a CNC or cutting by hand, we have a solution that fits,” said Pinkus.
Although the company’s solutions are straightforward, Pinkus said many fabricators are unfamiliar with dedicated sink installation tools. Instead, she often encounters makeshift methods using wood planks or adhesives—techniques that have worked for years but lack consistency and speed.
“My job is to show people there's a better way,” said Pinkus. “Once they try our products, the feedback is overwhelmingly positive.”
Sinkits does not sell directly to fabricators but distributes its products through partners across the country. Customers can find a list of distributors on the company’s website or reach out directly to Pinkus for guidance.
The company also offers online resources including training webinars, installation PDFs, and demonstration videos on YouTube to help fabricators get started.
“My role isn’t just sales—it’s education,” said Pinkus. “I want people to feel confident in our tools and understand how much time and cost they can save.”
Despite the challenges of working a large territory solo, Pinkus embraces the hands-on nature of her role and the support she receives from distributors.
“I eat, sleep and breathe this stuff,” said Pinkus. “But the products speak for themselves. I just need to get them in the right hands.”
