Epiroc Announces Changes to Group Management and Implements Business Areas

Epiroc
STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN -- Since Epiroc was listed in June 2018, the Group has grown successfully in many ways. For example, revenues have increased in total 86% and more than 30 companies have joined the Group through acquisitions. To create a more focused and effective organizational structure, Epiroc will implement two Business Areas effective September 1, 2025.
The Business Areas will be:
· Equipment & Service, with Business Area President Jess Kindler, who has more than 20 years in the Group and a strong track record of driving profitable growth in various global locations, within both service and equipment. Kindler is a U.S. citizen and holds a B.Sc. in Mining Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business. Kindler’s most recent position is as a senior consulting advisor, specializing in driving growth and excellence for global companies. Kindler will be located in U.S.
· Tools & Attachments, with Business Area President José Manuel Sánchez. Sanchez has spent his whole career within the Group and is an appreciated leader. He has a strong track record driving profitable growth, most recently within surface drilling and exploration. Sanchez is a Spanish citizen and holds a M.Sc. in Mining from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain, as well as a Master of Marketing and Sales Management from Cerem International Business School, Spain. Currently, Sanchez is the division president for the Epiroc Surface Division. Sanchez will be located in U.S.
Epiroc’s current eight separate and focused, yet integrated divisions, will continue to have the operational responsibility, but from September 1, 2025, the division presidents will report to the respective business area president instead of to the CEO. As a result, the Epiroc Group Management will consist of six positions in total, a reduction from the previous 13 positions.
“This reporting structure will in the coming years support our high ambition of outperformance, with 8% annual revenue growth and market-leading profitability, as it will make us both faster and more effective in an ever-changing world,” said Helena Hedblom, president and CEO. “The increased focus will mainly benefit our customers, as we can be even more precise and reliable when it comes to delivering our productivity-enhancing products and solutions. With these two appreciated leaders with strong track records onboard as business area presidents, we will accelerate the transformation further.”
