The Stone World staff would like to remember long-time editor Michael Reis, who passed away on February 7, 2014. Michael joined Stone World in March of 1993 and became editor in 1995. While he is certainly missed on both a personal and professional level, we have continued to publish the magazine with his spirit in mind. We know there are many industry members who are also thinking of him at this time.
