Xiamen Stone Fair continues to expand

Now in its 15th year, the Xiamen International Stone Fair has established itself as a prime stone exhibition worldwide and has plans for growth to accommodate its exhibitors and attendees

February 2, 2015

The 15th Xiamen International Stone Fair is slated for March 6 to 9, 2015 in Xiamen, China. Gathering more than 2,000 exhibitors from over 54 countries under one roof with a 166,000-square-meter exhibition area, Xiamen Stone Fair is expected to once again provide a global arena for manufacturers, sellers and buyers of the stone industry to network and view the latest stone products as well as fabrication and quarrying equipment.

The 15th Xiamen International Stone Fair

Scheduled for March 6 to 9, 2015, the Xiamen International Stone Fair is expected to draw a crowd of more than 140,000.

One of the highlights of Xiamen Stone Fair 2015 will be the well-organized national pavilions, including Italy, Turkey, Brazil, Spain, Oman, Egypt, France, Finland, Portugal, Greece, Pakistan, India and Iran. The majority of the pavilions have further expanded their exhibit space to display their exclusive products. Prominent overseas machinery companies from countries such as Italy, the U.S., Germany, Poland, France, Turkey and India will also take part in the 2015 edition.

Last year’s event drew 142,498 visitors, including 27,003 foreign attendees from 148 countries. According to the current amount of pre-registrations, it looks promising that this year’s show will reach the same totals, reports show management.

In recent years, the demand for booth space at Xiamen Stone Fair always exceeds supply. As a result, construction of phase IV of the venue — Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center — commenced in November 2014. By 2016, four new exhibition halls will be opened, according to show management — expanding the exhibition space to approximately 200,000 square meters.

Seminars and events

The World Stone Congress is an important event of the Xiamen Stone Fair, which aims at communication and cooperation of the global stone industry. Show management believes that participants will find answers to the current unstable situation through exploring and sharing new concepts, ideas and creative solutions. Additional educational sessions scheduled for Xiamen Stone Fair 2015 include:
