Ceramic Tiles of Italy Design Competition call for entries
Now in its 17th year, the Ceramic Tiles of Italy Design Competition celebrates the outstanding residential, commercial and institutional work of North American architects and designers who use Italian ceramic tile in their products.
An award of $5,000 per category will be presented to winning architects/designers at Coverings 2010, the annual international stone and tile exhibition that will be held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL, from April 27 to April 30, 2010. Additionally, the winner in each category will receive a five-day trip to Bologna, Italy, to attend Cersaie 2010 with a delegation of design journalists. There will also be an additional $1,000 to be shared by the distributor/contractor team of each winning project.
The design competition is sponsored by the Ceramic Tiles of Italy and the Italian Trade Commission. Eligible projects include: new construction and renovation; residential, commercial and institutional; and must be completed between January 2006 and January 2010. The deadline for entries is February 19, 2010. There is no fee or limit to entries.
