LAS VEGAS, NV -- Cosentino Group, a world leader in natural stone, quartz and recycled surfaces, has been selected as the recipient of the 2010 National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) Presidential Award. The President's Award is given to an NKBA member company that has demonstrated strong support of the association and the industry as a whole. The award was presented during the "State of the Industry Address" at the Kichen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas on Wednesday, April 27, 2011.
"Cosentino was chosen for the 2010 award because of its ongoing commitment to kitchen and bath professionals on both the local and national levels," said Mark Karas, CMKBD, 2011 NKBA Immediate Past President. "As a key exhibitor at KBIS, host of numerous local chapter events, and with a renewed commitment to the kitchen and bath dealer, Cosentino has clearly been a source of strength for our association and our industry throughout 2010 and 2011."
The award was received by Cosentino North America's Chief Executive Officer, Eduardo Cosentino, and is yet another highpoint for the company, as it continues to expand its presence in the U.S. and launch innovative new products. In 2010, Cosentino opened three new Cosentino Centers to meet the increasing demand for its products, with further plans to expand its distribution in 10 more states before the end of the 2011. At KBIS, Cosentino presented 15 new design-driven colors that showcase the latest technology and innovation.
"We are honored to receive this significant award from the NKBA," said Eduardo Cosentino. "As Cosentino's presence continues to grow in North America, it's imperative that we continue to support the association and provide the resources and support that kitchen and bath dealers need to grow their businesses and be successful. The goal to strengthen the kitchen and bath industry as a whole is a guiding vision for our company and it's extremely rewarding to be recognized for our commitment to date." Cosentino joins two prestigious industry leaders, Jenn-Air and ROHL, which were honored with the 2009 NKBA Presidential Award.
