Ghines has recently redesigned its Idrodos.

Ghines has recently redesigned its Idrodos, one of its most successful and acclaimed dust collector models. The company reports the need to protect the health of people working in the marble shop as well as the environment. The restyling of the Idrodos retains the advantages of the current model, while at the same time, offering the highest level of versatility for all marble workers’ needs, at an accessible price, according to Ghines.

Introduced at the 2010 Marmomacc exhibition in Verona, Italy, the new form has the same basic technical features, but the overall dimensions have been revised to cover a wider working area and to further increase its efficiency. Technical characteristics include an air intake of 13,400 m3/hour; 98 percent of the aspired dust exhaustion; 300 x 120 cm frontal suction surface; mechanical drop separator filtering system; 260-liter water collection tank capacity; water requirement of 3 to 5 liters/minute; power supply of three phases, absorbed power 7,5 kW; and certification from the national health and safety authorities.
