AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTS-LAS VEGAS ENDORSES STONEXPO . . .

July 1, 2008

The Las Vegas Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) recently signed an agreement to become an Official Endorser of StonExpo 2008 and will co-locate its annual product show with StonExpo, which will be held from October 15 to 18 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. The 2008 AIA Las Vegas Product Show will be held on Thursday, October 16, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

“This new partnership forges a bond between the architectural/design communities and the stone industry by uniting both groups under one roof for two powerful events,” said Dana Teague, StonExpo Show Director. “We are excited to see what this relationship will yield and look forward to offering all the attendees another value-add.”

Participants will register as StonExpo attendees, and one registration will allow them access to both the AIA Product Show and StonExpo. The AIA Product Show is open to members of the architectural/design communities and will feature about 100 exhibitors and cash prizes.

AIA Product Show attendees will also have the opportunity to take advantage of StonExpo’s extensive educational program and are eligible to register for all seminars, workshops and industry events. Two courses were specifically designed for AIA attendees who plan to attend both events. These two courses will be held on Thursday, October 16, before the AIA Product Show opens and will each offer AIA/CES LUs and HSW credits.

“Because of StonExpo’s location and reputation in the stone industry, they were a logical partner for us,” said Randy Lavigne, Executive Director of AIA Las Vegas. “Being associated with a show of this caliber brings our chapter unparalleled visibility, both regionally and nationally, and we are excited to offer StonExpo’s extensive resources to our attendees.”

Registration for both StonExpo and the 2008 AIA Las Vegas Product Show is now open and available online at www.StonExpo.com. Registration for both events is complimentary.
