Laticrete International of Bethany, CT, supplied all of the installation products for the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT, which was featured as the cover story of the September 2002 issue of Stone World ("Tribal history is reflected in Onyx," page 46.

Patricia Cronin of New York, NY, was the artist who made the over life-sized figurative sculpture featured in the article on Johnson Atelier in the August 2002 issue of Stone World ("Taking sculpture to the next level." page 36). The sculpture, which is shown on page 42, is entitled "Memorial to a Marriage," and its fabrication was sponsored by Grand Arts of Kansas City, MO. After its debut in Kansas City, the sculpture will be permanently installed in Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx, NY. "It has been so exciting to be the first artist to use the Omag 5 machine, and perhaps it will bring back figurative public stone sculpture," Cronin said. For more information, Cronin can be reached via e-mail at pcronin@aol.com.

Regent Products and Marmoelettromeccanica USA have broken ground on a 6,000-square-foot building for the storage of its heavy equipment line of saws and polishers. This new building, which is adjacent to Regent's 20,000-square-foot offices and warehouse, will provide needed space to accommodate the growing heavy equipment division. According to Paul Whitfield, vice president of Regent, this new facility will allow the company to keep its full line of saws and polishers in stock at all times, allowing for rapid delivery and installation and greater overall customer satisfaction. "Due to the increased demand we have experienced for our heavy equipment, we have undertaken this project with the aim of having these items on hand for immediate delivery, which we feel gives us greater flexibility in meeting our customers demands," he said.
