The Bostik Findley Flooring Group is pleased to announce the development of Durabond[r] D-222 Duraguard[tm] Anti-Fracture & Waterproofing Membrane, which is designed and field tested for optimal performance in vertical and horizontal installations of thin-set tile and stone, according to Robert McNamara, National Sales & Marketing Manager of the Bostik Findley Flooring Group.

D-222 Duraguard Membrane is a single component suitable for many substrates in commercial and residential applications, including concrete, cement block walls, cement backer board, gypsum board, exterior-grade plywood (interior, dry installations only) and mortar beds. The blue-colored anti-fracture & waterproofing membrane can be applied with a brush, roller or trowel, and cleans easily with water, reports The Bostik Findley Flooring Group. It is ideal for bathrooms, laundry rooms and kitchens in homes, yet it's sturdy enough for restaurants, hotels and hospitals.

D-222 Duraguard Membrane meets American National Standards Institute Specifications ANSI A118.10 for waterproofing membranes beneath thin-set tile and stone. D-222 Duraguard Membrane is safe, non-flammable, and complies with all current state and federal regulations for Volatile Organic Compounds, according to the company.
