LevelQuik from Custom Building Products

Contractors can count on LevelQuik® Self-Leveling Underlayment (SLU) products from Custom® Building Products when installing tile, stone, wood and other floor coverings. LevelQuik® RS (Rapid Set) offers easier handling and a smoother finish with exceptional workability. It seeks its own level in minutes and cures rapidly, with walkability in four hours. Its Controlled Cure Technology™ regulates the rate at which water evaporates during the curing process, prompting fast and consistent hydration, which results in superior crack resistance and greater coverage.

KeedeRoll from Dependable, LLC

Dependable, LLC offers the flooring industry revolutionary rolled underlayment products using entangled net filament technology called KeedeRoll™. Flexible substrates place enormous shear stresses on ceramic tile, causing cracking. Uncoupling your tile from subfloor movements can enhance its durability by reducing shear stresses. Dependable’s rolled underlayments either reinforce your substrate or absorb subfloor movements to protect tile and promote a long-lasting floor system.

NXT Skim from Laticrete

Laticrete® NXT™ Skim is a premium quality, fast-drying, cement-based underlayment designed for skim-coating, smoothing and leveling prior to the application of floor coverings. The improved formula can now hold more water, resulting in a creamier consistency for a smoother application and sleeker finish, as well as an extended pot life and easier troweling. The NXT Skim packaging has also been redesigned with a tin tie resealable feature that allows the product to be saved for additional uses.

Prova Flex-Heat from M-D Pro

Prova Flex-Heat® by M-D Pro is a versatile underlayment that eliminates the cause of cracked tiles with Shear Stress Control® patented technology. It can be installed with multiple sizes of cables/brands. At 6-mm-thick, it can also be installed without a heating system and used in applications where tile needs to be raised to meet thicker flooring surfaces. Open air channels beneath the membrane allow moisture to dissipate, making Prova Flex-Heat® great for below-grade installations over concrete.

Mapeguard UM from Mapei

Mapeguard UM is a lightweight, waterproofing and vapor pressure-equalizing underlayment membrane from Mapei. It provides crack suppression for use under ceramic tile and stone installations, for both residential and commercial applications. Mapeguard UM is designed to perform over challenging substrates, such as young concrete and single-layer plywood subfloors. The uniquely engineered tri-layered design of Mapeguard UM absorbs lateral stress from the substrate without transferring this force to the tile or stone, which maintains exceptional bonds.

Ditra-Heat-Duo uncoupling membrane from Schluter Systems

Controlling impact sound through floor-ceiling assemblies in multi-story construction can present challenges, particularly with hard surface tiles. Sound control materials tend to be compressible and not all provide adequate support for the tile covering. Ditra-Heat-Duo uncoupling membrane from Schluter Systems reduces sound transmission, in addition to warming the floor and still supporting the covering for a lasting installation. ASTM E2179 testing shows Ditra-Heat-Duo produced an increase in impact insulation class (ΔIIC) of 20 to a concrete slab floor-ceiling assembly.

Level Set 300 from TEC

TEC® Level Set® 300 is a high-performance, calcium aluminate-based, fiber-reinforced self-leveling underlayment that provides a flat, extremely smooth and durable surface for finished flooring installations. Ideal for fast-track applications, Level Set® 300 is formulated for walkability in two to three hours and accepts non-moisture sensitive tile and stone in four hours. This self-leveling underlayment is pourable and pumpable for interior applications.

UltraLight Foam Tile Backerboard from USG Durock

USG Durock™ Brand UltraLight Foam Tile Backerboard combines traditional backerboard and waterproofing into one step, saving you time and labor. It offers architects, builders and tile contractors a strong, lightweight, waterproof and vapor-retardant tile base for wet areas. USG Durock™ UltraLight Foam Tile Backerboard cuts easily with a utility knife and is dust-free. It also fastens without washers and is ideal for use with the USG Durock™ Brand Shower System.
