Poseidon Industries first introduced the T-Rex 5 Axis CNC Saw and Profiler Combo machine in 2013. Since then, the T-Rex system has been modified to work as a dual-table machine, capable of eliminating wasteful loading and unloading times by quickly jogging from one worktable to the next with no pause in between work cycles. Also, the T-Rex switches seamlessly from its functionality between a CNC bridge saw and a CNC fabrication center. Among its many capabilities, it can act as a full CNC router with finger bit, core drill and edge profiling/polishing capabilities, as well as leathering options. When it is working as a 5 Axis CNC bridge saw, it can perform miter cutting, automatic CNC cutting, with core drilling and finger bit routing as well, giving it close to full capabilities as a sawjet with little or no waste and more efficiency. The T-Rex also employs a small blade attachment to allow for even tighter nesting and small radius cutting. The T-Rex easily integrates with a laser projector to allow for easy positioning of vacuum pods between work cycles.
