Bedrock Quartz is a three-generation countertop business catering to the Utah market. Owned by David Jorgensen and his three sons, Alan, Eric and Steve, the company has evolved from a laminate countertop shop to a natural stone and quartz surfacing operation, with an emphasis on quality and customer service.
The International Surface Event, a combination of StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas, Surfaces and Tile Expo, brought together stone and stone working technology, as well as tile and tile-setting products, along with carpet, wood and linoleum — all of it featured on one floor this year, compared to the two-floor design from previous years.
In this issue of Contemporary Stone & Tile Design, we have a focus on “Architectural Products.” While this can apply to a range of components of a design, we chose to take a look at the installation and maintenance products used for various projects.
For this issue, we are excited to share with you four features that focus on using compact and ultrathin slabs in both residential and commercial projects. As these products continue to gain popularity, we wanted to share different ideas of applications, including an upscale dining environment in the interior of a Saks Fifth Avenue.
