XIAMEN, CHINA - The 2010 Xiamen Stone Fair took place from March 6 to 9, 2010 in Xiamen, China, and it featured 1,300 exhibiting companies from 45 countries. Organizers report that the show floor was crowded with visitors from around the world.

A range of national pavilions were in place for this annual event, including delegations from Turkey, Italy, Spain, Brazil, Iran, India, France, Egypt, Finland and Portugal. The active participation of overseas exhibitors revealed that Xiamen Stone Fair has grown as an international platform for stone companies to meet new customers and explore new markets.

In addition to the exhibition, the 2010 World Stone Congress in Xiamen featured speakers from the U.S., Germany and other nations. The stone industry experts discussed the opportunities and challenges facing the trade. The goal of the World Stone Congress is to create a venue where people involved in all aspects of the stone industry around the world can learn from each other, network and take action.

The 2011 Xiamen Stone Fair is scheduled for the same dates - March 6 to 9. More than 1,370 exhibitors will take part in next year’s event, exhibiting across more than 1 million square feet of exhibition space.
