Machine of the Month: Proliner 4

The Proliner 4 is especially designed for in-house use, working as a simple solution to digitize existing templates. This 2D measuring device is small and was engineered as a cost-effective complement to a shop’s CNC machine or waterjet. The Proliner 4 uses the same technology as other models, outputting standard DXF format, which is compatible with most CAD/CAM programs. The Proliner mechanical touch yields optimum accuracy and more capabilities for scribing or continuously tracing any template.

The totally self-contained unit has a direct measuring range of 5 meters (16.4 feet).  This gives the user the flexibility to measure almost any size template, or multiple templates at the same time. The 6.2-inch touch-screen display makes the unit easy to operate. The Proliner 4 uses a standard AC power supply and has a USB port for direct downloads.

The Proliner 4 was designed to replace any digitizing board. It takes up little space and adds additional capabilities to the measurement process.
