Lackmond Stone Appoints New Territory Manager
MARIETTA, GA --Lackmond Stone has named Andrew Phillips, former branch manager of Direct Stone Tool, as territory manager, servicing customers and overseeing the company's sales strategies on the West Coast.
"We are excited to have Andrew Phillips join the Lackmond Stone team," said Cliff Sallis, president, Lackmond Products, Inc. "His extensive experience in the stone and tile industry, as well as vast knowledge of CNC tooling, will allow us to accelerate our expansion efforts in the Western part of the U.S."
Phillips began in the industry nearly 20 years ago, working as a young apprentice for his family's tile and stone business, Phillips Tile. Prior to Lackmond Stone, he worked as a branch manager for Direct Stone Tool in San Diego, CA. During his time there, Phillips was responsible for inventory, ordering and receiving products, sales and customer service, CNC training and set up and much more. Prior to this, Phillips worked as a production manager and CAD programmer for Pinnacle Stone and Tile, as well as a CNC programmer and operator for Phillips Tile.
"This position is a truly unique opportunity for me to help grow Lackmond Stone," he said. "I am excited to be part of the Lackmond Stone team and I look forward to continuing their sales expansion and CNC training on the west coast."
Phillips and his wife Rachael enjoy spending time with their three children and being in the outdoors.
