"Cosentino supports the decision made by both associations to co-locate in 2014," said Lorenzo Marquez, VP of Marketing for Cosentino North America. "This is a significant announcement for our industry and an indicator of how times and industry needs are changing. By joining forces and creating a focused Design & Construction Week, the NKBA and NAHB are providing the ultimate platform for manufacturers to launch new products and expand their reach."
As a long-time exhibitor at both shows, Design and Construction Week will offer Cosentino the convenience of one setting and provide the opportunity to work with customers on the buy-in process for new product introductions earlier in the year, which helps better serve their businesses.
"The co-location and timing of the two shows helps meet the needs of manufacturers and trade professionals alike," added Marquez. "Cosentino commends the NKBA and NAHB for listening to its members and spearheading collaboration and change."
The new event will be held February 4 – 6, 2014 in Las Vegas, with each show occupying a separate hall. According to a press release issued by the NAHB, "Design and Construction Week 2014 is expected to draw more than 75,000 specifiers, builders, dealers and suppliers and 2,000 exhibiting brands, based on recent trends for both shows."
