The Proliner 6.1 from Blick Industries allows users to create digital templates of countertops, floors, doors, walls, stairs, sinks and full-height backsplashes all in a portable, rugged package. The Proliner’s ability to digitize a job on site in a fraction of the time required by other methods drastically increases productivity, the company reports. The easy-to-use, touch-screen interface requires no prior computer knowledge, and there is no leveling required, according to Blick. Additional features include:

• Ability to measure cabinets on site as well as digitizing existing hard templates

• Measuring head folds into itself

• Sturdy device is able to withstand on-site environmental demands

• 6-inch-wide touch-screen is standard

• Built-in basic CAD software

• No laptop needed

• Extra storage compartment

• Has a wall plug along with a rechargeable battery
