SUN VALLEY, CA -- CaesarStone, a manufacturer of quartz surfaces, has announced the opening of its second California office and warehouse in San Leandro. The Sun Valley, CA-based company also opened a branch in New York last year. Already sold worldwide, this expansion will continue to secure CaesarStone as a leading provider of natural quartz surfaces, reports the company.

The 60,000-square-foot San Leandro facility features a state-of-the-art warehouse and corporate offices. In addition, an extensive showroom is set to open in April 2006, which will be open to consumers, as well as architects, interior designers and homebuilders. The showroom will display the company's 50 colors of quartz surfaces and its eight varieties of Concetto, the first handcrafted surface made with real semi-precious stones, according to the manufacturer.

“When CaesarStone U.S. first opened in 1999, the Southern California office was able to handle the demand for quartz countertops throughout the state,” said Arik Tendler, president of CaesarStone. “However, the explosion of CaesarStone's popularity has been phenomenal since that time. It was the natural next step to open the San Leandro office to give our Northern California customers the best service possible.”
