New supplier for tile setting

CHARLOTTE, NC - Bonsal[r] has been selected by Master Tile as a key supplier for tile setting materials. Bonsal American is an OldCastle[r] company founded over 100 years ago with over 40 years experience with tile setting products. Master Tile is one of the fastest growing tile distributors in the U.S. with 22 branches in Texas and Oklahoma. The partnership provides territorial expansion opportunities for both companies with Bonsal adding distribution and brand recognition in the West and Master Tile opening a new branch in Tampa and planning further expansion in Florida where Bonsal has a significant market presence. Master Tile sells through wholesale channels and services homebuilders, tile contractors, interior designers, architects, general contractors and flooring dealers.

“The company selects suppliers based on quality of their products and their ability to deliver products in a timely manner,” stated Tom Cosky, chief executive officer of Master Tile. “Bonsal brings those qualities to the relationship, as well as a long history in the field and a reputation for unsurpassed business ethics. We are very excited about offering a new and complete line of setting products from another quality supplier to our customer, and feel that they will also benefit from this new relationship.” Cosky also pointed out that Bonsal was well positioned to support future expansion plans by his company as growth continues throughout the U. S.

“Master Tile has a long track record,” stated Kevin McFadden, director of marketing for tile products with Bonsal. “They have been in the business for over 52 years and we are very happy to have the opportunity to supply a company marketing the finest selection of tile and stone to both the residential and commercial markets in such a large area.” McFadden points out that this is an important step in the company's planned national expansion for its tile setting products business. “As part of the OldCastle Group, we have access to considerable resources and in addition to our expansion into Texas and the other markets served by Master Tile, we are on-course for further growth in the Northeast and California before year-end.”

McFadden says that OldCastle has agreed to invest in local production facilities to further support the Master Tile expansion. “This illustrates our ability and willingness to commit the necessary resources to assure successful expansion as we grow out tile setting products business now and in the future,” McFadden stated.
