MSI RELOCATES HEADQUARTERS TO ORANGE, CA

M S International, Inc. (MSI) announced that it has relocated its corporate headquarters to a state-of-the-art distribution center in Orange, CA. The new distribution center sits on a 13-acre site with approximately 170,000 square feet of warehouse space and an additional 200,000 square feet for outside storage. The facility also includes four overhead cranes for efficient slab distribution as well as 30 loading stations for quick loading and unloading of shipments. The new location is approximately two miles from MSI's current headquarters in Anaheim, CA, and remains in close proximity to four major Southern California freeways (57, 91, 5 and 22).

By relocating approximately 120 employees to the new facility, MSI will be able to better serve its nationwide base of customers. The new distribution center has been equipped with the latest information systems and distribution capabilities to manage what may become the largest inventory of natural stone in the U.S., according to the company. This expansion in California culminates a nine-month period in which MSI significantly grew its operations with new facilities in Edison, NJ; Atlanta, GA; and Dallas, TX.

“The new facility will create a mega-stone center; whether it's tiles, slabs, landscaping materials or monuments, MSI will be a one-stop shop for our customers,” said MSI President Manu Shah. “The growing natural stone industry is increasingly based on inventory partnered with efficient distribution, both of which will be greatly enhanced with our new location.” With the distribution center expansion in California, MSI now has in excess of 15 million square feet of natural stone inventory available in five strategically located distribution centers nationwide - Orange, CA; Edison, NJ; Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; and Chicago, IL. The address of the new location is at 2095 N. Batavia Street, Orange, CA 92865.
