The first edition of the Marble Institute of America/Stone World magazine Stone Industry Education Series is currently taking place at MSI in Orange, CA, and it has a solid attendance of fabricators from across Southern California.

This is the fourth year that the two longtime industry allies have partnered on this mutually successful endeavor. The program features installer- and fabricator-oriented seminars, all including a networking reception to complete the program.

The MIA/Stone World Stone Industry Education Series offers a new format, focusing on topics that the attendees want to learn about. Moderated by Tony Malisani of Malisani Inc., a veteran speaker from the stone industry, fabricators are sharing their knowledge and experiences to improve and benefit the entire industry. The "town hall" forum style allows for networking with peers and sharing of ideas, often including tips that can improve efficiency and provide growth opportunities for all fabrication shops, large and small, new and established.
