The company’s aim is to continue to find ways to offer tools and equipment to the stone tradesman in a more timely and effective manner, according to Peter de Kok, founder and President of GranQuartz. “As the Atlanta market is one of the strongest residential markets in the U.S., the stone fabricator and installer needs the service and support a store can offer,” stated de Kok.
The store is managed by William Rodriguez, who is fluent in Spanish and English and a veteran of GranQuartz’ inside sales representative team.
GranQuartz also announced the hiring of Rick Mount. Mount is responsible for visiting stone fabricators with CNC machines to assist them with the setup and operation of their CNC tooling. Mount comes to GranQuartz with over 10 years of experience in training operators on up to 5-axis machines, providing customers with invaluable assistance to maximize efficiency with their tooling. GranQuartz is the exclusive distributor of ADI Diamond Tools, recognized as a leader in CNC tooling for stone.
Additionally, GranQuartz announced the hiring of Anthony McCabe for its southwest U.S. territory. Covering Arizona, Nevada and Utah, McCabe brings fabrication scheduling, operations and sales experience to GranQuartz.
