A sampling of Italian tile

Designed for bathrooms with a more modern soul, Contemporanea is characterized by the dusty look of dark colors and bright hue of light colors. The 8- x 20-inch double fire white-body wall tiles have a very shiny layer of glazing enriched by an undulating surface that embellishes rooms with reflections of light.

With shiny glazed finishes and a color palette of soft tones, "Kensington" is a modern interpretation of the refined atmospheres of English homes. The 12- x 24-inch glazed white-body wall tiles are available in seven colors: Ivory, Warm Gray, Clay, Extra White, Jade, Lagoon and Mauve; with complementing 12- x 12-inch matte porcelain floor tiles and polished three-dimensional decorative tiles.

Novabell uses high definition printing for its LEED-compliant "Concept" porcelain floor tiles. The Cotto and Mattone colors conjure up the warmth of traditional Italian handcrafted floors, while Champagne and Graphite are ideal for more modern settings. Available in modular sizes: 12 x 12, 12 x 24 and 24 x 24 inches, for mixed laying patterns.

"Challenge" is a series of elegant and contemporary porcelain stone slabs by Century. The distinctive feature of this collection is the presence of mineral grains and flakes in the mixture that create an original melange effect. Its availability in a range of sizes -- as small as 12 x 12 inches and as large as 4 x 4 feet -- makes it the perfect flooring solution for very complex projects and large-scale surfaces.

Inspired by the look of brushed cement, Atlas Concorde's "Evolve" collection of porcelain tiles is available in eight colors and three surface finishes: matte; honed, with a soft-touch and resin-like effect; and textured, which recalls the effect of a cement gauge box. The large 24- x 48-inch slabs and the new 30- x 30-inch format offer new design solutions for broad commercial venues and prestigious residential projects.
