CHARLOTTE, NC - Bonsal American® has promoted Jeff Lax to general manager of the Pavement Coatings Division. Lax will continue to serve in his role as Vice President of Development for Bonsal American. As general manager of the Pavement Coatings Division, he will coordinate the marketing strategy of both the commercial and retail segments.

“Jeff has been a key player in the further development of Bonsal American,” said David Maske, president of Bonsal American. “We have confidence that his leadership will take our Pavement Coatings Division to even greater success.”

Lax joined Oldcastle® in March 2003 as the vice president of development for Oldcastle Retail, Inc. In January 2006, he moved to support Bonsal American as its Vice President of Development. Prior to working for Oldcastle and Bonsal American, Lax was involved in finance, strategy and development for the Goodrich Corp. He holds a B.S. degree in aerospace engineering and an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia Darden Business School.

Lax sits on the board of trustees for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Mid-Atlantic Chapter, and he is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth. He also volunteers as a coach and judge for Odyssey of the Mind, an international education program presenting kindergarten through college-age students with opportunities for creative problem-solving through competition.
