The Alpha® VSP 110 variable-speed wet polisher was designed to be the standard for wet polishing applications. As an option, the company's newest wet polisher comes with a step-down gear set to reduce spindle RPMs. Together with the variable speed control switch, users can set any speed range between 1,600 RPMs to 2,800 RPMs. There is no limit on the usage of slow RPMs, which is unique for this tool, Alpha reports.
Alpha researched the polishing application of engineered stone and realized the benefits of slower RPMs to avoid the risk of burning resin, making this polisher ideal for engineered stone fabricators, Alpha reports.
