LEWIS CENTER, OH - Abrasive Technology of Lewis Center, OH, recently announced that it has appointed two new associates to its Business Development and Sales Processes.

James A. McNair, Jr. has joined the Customer Communications, Sales Process with sales responsibility for Indiana and Michigan. McNair will be based in Cleveland, OH, and brings more than 25 years of technical sales, management and industry experience, having served nearly 20 years in senior account management for a superabrasive tooling manufacturer. McNair received his Bachelor's of Art degree in Business Administration from Kent State University.

In addition, Keith Torrance has joined the Customer Communications, Business Development Process. Based in the company's Lewis Center, OH, location, Torrance will share business development and sales responsibility for the Chemical Mechanical Plan-arization (CMP) market for the Americas and Canada with current Abrasive Technology associate Sohail Qamar.

Torrance brings more than 20 years of experience in sales and marketing of wafer polishing equipment and electro-optical components to the semiconductor, material science, laser, electro-optic, defense and fiber-optic industries. He received his Bachelor's of Science degree in Geology from Glasgow University in Glasgow, Scotland, graduating with honors.
